44hrs a week:
Our US counterpart has commited to its clients to complete thier upgrade work before october. So they want their so called 'indian part of the team' to work a min of 44 hours per week from Jul to Oct. Any hours above that 44 figure will be considered as overtime. (No idea why that 4 hours is not considered for overtime!)
My manager called in for a quick short meeting today morning. He wants an approval from all the team memebers before he commits to the US part, that we would work for a minimum of 44 hours a week. "So ..from Jan to Jun is it going to be 36hrs a week??" I joked.
Man!!! what kind of a crap is this? Working overtime for this lousy upgrage work! I feel its gonna be totally de-motivating for the team members.
